After I got soaked walking the trails over at the Oxley Nature Center i decided the best thing to do for the day was to grab lunch over at the Tulsa Zoo next door. Having a year pass made it pretty easy to just walk in. Since it had just rained a lot of the animals were out and about enjoying the cooler weather. I could have stayed all day but as the sun started coming out and temperatures started to rise around noon, I decided to call it a day and come back later in the month.
I swapped my 17-85mm lens for my 75-300mm and did my best to keep the images stable while zoomed. (This lens lacks any form of IS) overall I’m pretty happy with the outcome of some of these.
Technically, not an animal, but I was pretty happy to see that the Zoo Train was back up and running this week.
