I took a drive up to the Promenade Mall today as I saw that they were closing the doors for good, and this would be the last chance to visit. Unfortunately, they were not allowing anyone to take photos inside the mall and were kicking anyone out who was taking photos with cameras or phones. Oh well. I did get a few shots of the exterior using the Aero chrome profile and Ilford HP4 profiles. I thought the shot of the sign turned out pretty good and the tree/truck as well.
I also have been spending quite a bit of time this weekend making prints and framing them for my apartment walls. I’ve decided that since there is so much empty space, I might as well use it to display my work. It will also give me a chance to work out what works in print form and experiment with paper types. I don’t think I’m ready to sell any prints just yet, although I have sold a couple of prints of photos that I was commissioned to take, and the client was happy with the quality from my printer/paper combination. I just have not had a chance to look into the whole print selling process.
